Workshop Description

Our Sibling Skills Group Workshops are specially designed for children aged 2-7 years who are preparing to welcome a new baby into their family. Through a mix of fun games, storytelling, and hands-on activities, we help little ones build confidence, emotional resilience, and excitement about becoming a big sibling. Led by a registered midwife and childhood expert, each session focuses on developing empathy, reducing sibling rivalry, and teaching practical baby-care skills in a warm, child-friendly environment. Kids will learn how to safely help with their new sibling, express their feelings positively, and strengthen their bond with the newest family member. Held monthly on Sundays in Godalming, these small-group sessions offer a chance for children to meet others going through the same experience, providing a supportive and social setting to explore their feelings about the upcoming change. By the end of the workshop, your child will leave feeling empowered, included, and excited about their important new role!
